£4,000 raised for charity

We are proud to announce that we have smashed through the £4,00o barrier with our customer donations towards The East Cheshire Hospice.

We cannot thank our customers enough for their generosity as we look forward to raising much more money in the future.

Attached is a picture of Tony and Robert with a rather large cheque to celebrate the achievement.

Many thanks again and here is to reaching £5,000 with the help of our customers continued support for a fantastic cause!

Happy New Year!

On behalf of all the staff at A. J. Boon butchers we would like to say a big thank you for all your custom and support throughout 2014 and we look forward to serving you in 2015.

A year in which we promise to continue providing you with the best quality meat that local produce has to offer.

As of the start of this year the total in our charity box for East Cheshire Hospice stands at £3701.82. With your continued generosity throughout 2015, together we can hopefully raise more money than ever for a great cause.

So a big thank you and all the best for the year ahead.

Mr Boon’s 60th Birthday!

Last Saturday (29th November) Tony and wife Isobel hosted a party to celebrate both of their 60th birthdays. The evening held at Sandhole Farm in Congleton went really well and hopefully a good night was had by all those that attended.

Through donations of our generous guests we managed to raise over £2,000 for charity, with this money being split between The East Cheshire Hospice and Cancer Research UK.

A staggering amount of money raised on one night for two extremely good causes I’m sure you will agree, so a big thanks to all that donated and all well wishers.

So here is to the next 60 years!

The Starlight Walk

On Friday 25th April Tony and Isobel (accompanied by their spaniel – Blu) completed the Starlight walk around the grounds of Capesthorne Hall.

The 10 kilometre walk was in aid of  The East Cheshire Hospice and the spirit of the night wasn’t at all dampened by the non-stop rain! Hundreds of people took part in the event which was a great success, and hopefully raised a lot of money for a great cause.

A.J. Boon butchers owners Tony and Isobel raised £670 between them and would like to thank all customers for their generosity and continued support in donating.

On top of this news, the total amount raised by our ‘East Cheshire Hospice’ collection box in the shop now stands at £3,658.72.

Thank you.

A Big Thanks!

We would just like to take the time to say a massive thank you to all of our loyal customers for their trade throughout 2013.

The same as every year, you made 2013  a great one for us and we look forward to your continued support throughout the year to come.

As we promise to maintain our ever high standards to provide you with our great service of top quality meat goods.

So again, a big thank you and roll on 2014!

Approaching £3,000!

We are delighted to announce that our official figure raised for the East Cheshire Hospice, through our bag for life campaign, now stands at £2800.

Customers that forget their bags for life on visit to the shop and required plastic bags were more than happy to make a contribution. This combined with a large number of voluntary donations has allowed us to reach this great amount of money.

So we would like to take to time to thank all our customers for their generous offerings, and let you know what you have raised will make a difference to peoples lives in the local area.

If you still haven’t got one, our bags for life are still available if you just ask at the shop counter.

Thanks again and we look forward to raising more money in the future.
